Chef George was fantastic for our family holiday of 15, making us delicious breakfast and dinner. Communication before the holiday was excellent, he created us a fantastic menu for the week and was super flexible with any last minute changes we requested. Amazing experience! I had the pleasure of organizing a 4 day company trip and get in contact with Chef George who has been extremely professional. He and Ana (sous chef) did an amazing job! We had the chance to work with Chef George during our Psychotherapy retreat in Tenerife, and he was an incredible addition to the experience. We were a group of 26 people, and George was the person who made sure we were always fed, energized, and happy. I still don’t know how he managed it — he made us feel like there was an entire team taking care of us. He cooked, served, cleaned, set the buffet, made sure there was coffee, tea, water, and everything else we needed, always with a calm attitude and a smile. The highlight, of course, was the food. George created a beautiful buffet menu for us every day — always unique, delicious, well-balanced, and right on time. He has a talent for turning simple meals into something that feels like Michelin-level cooking — and doing that for 26 people is impressive on its own. He was also flexible and open to feedback, quickly adapting to individual dietary needs throughout the retreat. What more can I say — working with Chef George was one of the best parts of our Tenerife experience. Our group of 20 had several great experiences during our week in Tenerife, but in the end we all agreed that the top highlight was having Jiri as our chef. Every meal was unique and catered to the varied tastes of our diverse group. He knew how to make everyone feel special, from meal prep, to table setup, to cleanup. Always calm, confident, and respectful. One more thing that personally impressed me was the way he discussed and implemented innovative ways to roll over leftovers to eliminate food waste. Food can be a touchy subject, especially in large groups. Somehow, Jiri met all our expectations and then set a new bar of what excellent service looks like.
