Where to start….Words will never express how amazing La Van were at our wedding 🥹 From the first phone call with Max, to the wedding tasting- where not only us but our family were treated so amazingly. During all the planning Max was amazing, clear and quick to communicate. Nothing was too much of a bother. Anahí was so helpful during the process. The food!!! Omggg our guests are still talking about it. It was out of this world delicious. I will be dreaming of those tacos & paella for a very long time. The set up and drinks were all fabulous. Our favourite memories from the day all revolve around La Van & their team. Our guests have all said the same. The lady who was serving our top table was an angel. We found La Van through an online search, and from our first conversation with Max, we knew it was the right fit. When you first speak with him, he will present you with the company and explain how they do business, and everything is exactly like he says. That is the thing I like the most. Even though everything was remote, Max and his team were really approachable and flexible during the preparation process. In fact, it was so approachable that Max even offered to come to us and drive us to see the venue, so he could see it firsthand and also help us with the owners, since his Spanish is much better than ours. To better explain, at that time we were staying in Palma and the venue is some 60 kilometres from Palma, so to go there and back is at least 120 kilometres and 2 hours of his personal time. He did not need to do that, but he is so engaged in what he does that it wasn't a problem for him. Prices are more than reasonable for the top-notch service you receive, and the food is by far the best. At some point throughout the event, it started raining, and the team was able to change the seating from an open space under the covered terrace so quickly that practically no one noticed…

Where do we start with Max and his team? The service we received on our wedding day was exceptional. The staff are all very kind and super professional - it was hard to pinpoint a member of staff who didn't have a massive smile! A few of our guests remarked that it felt like a celebrity wedding - which we are by no means of celebrity status at all! We had loads of feedback on the standard of the food and our guests absolutely loved the rosé wine. Max is a true creative and what he brought to our wedding well exceeded our hopes for the day - he is extremely easy to work and nothing was ever too much of a problem. We just wanted to say the biggest THANK YOU to you and your entire team for everything you did over the wedding and the pool party on Sunday. All of the guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had and we completely second that! My girlfriend mentioned how you also changed her meal at the last minute because she realised she hadn’t updated her original choice since becoming pregnant. She wanted to say that was incredible service from you guys and very kind and to send special thanks for being so accommodating. The waiting staff made sure that no one’s glass was ever empty throughout the cocktail hour and dinner, they were all so friendly, happy and just helped create the atmosphere we were hoping for. Absolutely thrilled that we chose La Van to cater our post-wedding pool party! I can't recommend them highly enough, put them to the top of your list if you are looking for Mallorca caterers. Max made everything so easy from the very start; tailoring the menu, travelling to our venue a couple of months before to ensure smooth execution on the day, quick and transparent communication. The day itself was flawless.... The team arrived early, the van and set-up was picture perfect and they set-up two drinks sub-stations to fit in with the venue (one by the pool / one by the terrace) which looked great and made sure guests weren't waiting. Food was flowing throughout with no delays / running out of things (which I thought could be possible as we had 70 guests and you can't predict when they will go up / which of the choices they will go for). All were delicious and well presented and guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was. There were plenty of staff all smiling and keen to serve drinks / help. This review is only 5 stars because 6 is not an option. I am a professional wedding planner in the US, and was also a 2024 bride who spent 2 years planning my own wedding in Mallorca. La Van was our first (and certainly most valuable) wedding vendor hire. Max went above-and-beyond expectation in literally every way. From day one, he helped us to choose a venue from half a world away. His team also supported with vendor referrals (all wonderful references, by the way), decor and lighting needs, of course the food and bar (delightful!), but most impressively - Max became our lifelong friend along the way. We received his full attention and patience, even in matters well beyond the scope of his role. While planning a wedding across an ocean is challenging, we walked into the wedding day with great peace knowing it was in Max & his team's hands. As to the catering service itself, we hired La Van for both the wedding dinner (a plated, luxury style meal) and the day-after pool party (brunch faire served at leisure). We will be forever grateful to the La Van team for making our wedding day so perfect! Everything - from planning months in advance to the big day, they were very helpful. Max, Aida and the team are the best we could have hoped for! The food was complimented by everyone! They are really just amazing!

Max and his team went above and beyond catering our wedding. From start to finish, he was a pleasure to work with, communicative, thoughtful, professional, helping us with the planning process, especially as we didn't have a wedding planner, so there's a lot it's easy to overlook. He also helped us out when we hit other snags (the guitar crisis!) using his network of contacts on the island. On the day itself, his team were super friendly and brought a brilliant vibe, both in their attitudes and how they dressed the space. It looked amazing (the van as bar!). And, most importantly, the food was incredible. And not just for "wedding" food – I want to eat that meal all over again! In short, I'd recommend Max in a heartbeat.

Max & La Van Mallorca are so much more than a caterer! Max essentially planned a destination wedding of 125+ people coming from all over the world to Mallorca (mostly US & Colombia). If planning from afar, besides obviously being able to plan the food and meals, he was able to use local connections to source seating/tables, cutlery/glassware, and provide different levels of pricing based off of our needs. Our wedding experience was flawless from bar/drink service to cocktail hour to main course to after-party asado. We designed all menus with Max, providing input and him letting us know where to save and where to spend. Max worked tirelessly to make sure our special day went right. He and La Van went above and beyond, and should be considered for large events like a wedding, as much as smaller, more intimate events. A big part of planning a large event is the emotional strain, Max and his team to a good job of taking that pressure off of you and helping tie together the loose ends. We had a ton of fun working with him. Everyone loves taking pictures with La Van too ;)

Max helped put together two fantastic evenings of food for a celebration we held over a weekend in Mallorca. With only 2 weeks notice he came up with delicious, reasonably priced menus and delivered 2 fantastic events. He and his team worked incredibly hard to not only create a wonderful party atmosphere through lighting, flowers etc they also catered and managed the bar brilliantly. Thank you Max!
